High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is a non-invasive therapeutic technology that uses ultrasound energy to heat targeted tissues beneath the skin’s surface. HIFU stands for High Frequency Ultrasound. The device delivers energy below the skin. HIFU effects three layers of the superficial and dermis along with MAS right down next to the muscle, which is the same layer of tissue that
surgeons pull tight in a face lift. As a thermal energy safely heats this tissue, it contracts resulting in tightening of the skin and formation of new collagen, which provides a long term tightening effect.
- Comprehensive Coverage: The 3D handpiece covers larger skin areas efficiently, ideal for broad and even skin tightening and rejuvenation.
- Precision Targeting: The 1D handpiece delivers pinpoint accuracy, perfect for treating deep wrinkles and specific problem areas.
- Enhanced Versatility: Seamlessly switch between broad treatments and focused work, addressing all aesthetic goals in one session.
- Optimized Results: Use the 3D handpiece for overall tightening. followed by the 1D for detailed improvements, enhancing overall results
- Increased Efficiency: Treat large areas quickly with the 3D handpiece and perform precise touch-ups with the lD, reducing session time,

APPLICATION
- Generation of Ultrasound Waves: HIFU devices use a transducer to generate high frequency ultrasound waves. These waves are typically in the range of 0.8 to 3.0 megahertz.
- Focus Point: The ultrasound waves focus on a specific point beneath the skin, the focal point or treatment zone. Unlike traditional ultrasound, where the waves are dispersed, HIFU concentrates the energy to a precise location.
- Thermal Energy Accumulation: As the focused ultrasound waves pass through the skin’s surface, they accumulate thermal energy at the targeted depth. The energy is primarily absorbed by the tissue at the focal point.

ADVANTAGE
- Cellular Response: The thermal effect induces a cellular response, including the stimulation of collagen production. Collagen is a structural protein that provides support and firmness to the skin. The controlled injury to the tissue triggers a natural healing process.
- Temperature Increase: The temperature at the focal point rises rapidly, leading to thermal coagulation of the tissue. This means that the targeted tissue is heated to a level where the proteins denature and cells experience irreversible damage.
- Tissue Tightening and Lifting: The increased collagen production over time contributes to tissue tightening and lifting. This effect is particularly beneficial for reducing sagging or laxity in the treated area, such as the face, neck, or body.
